Children Christian Formation Ministry provides a spiritual, educational and outreach
service to the families of St. Anne.  St. Anne Parish is committed to life-long faith formation.  Children’s Faith Formation Program, offered to children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, is a strong faith-based curriculum centered on primary teachings of the Church, scripture, prayer, and service to others. The Children’s Faith Formation Program serves first as a “going deeper” element of life-long faith formation. Its purpose is to strengthen, not replace, the faith formation learned in the home and our weekly
worship at parish Mass.

The program we employ is the Harcourt publisher’s Call to Faith Series.  This program, in addition to theologically solid and inviting textbooks, has excellent parish, parent, and family resources. The publisher supports an excellent Web site that contains a wealth of activities, lessons, games, and reviews related to the curriculum. Parents are invited to use this Web site, select the grade and chapter related to a child, and find home activities,
quizzes, and parent suggestions to enrich the learning experience.

Teachers provide the structure for classroom and interactive learning environment to
understand the Catholic Faith.  Teachers are needed for every aspect of this ministry from Vacation Bible School in the summer to preparation for the Sacraments and weekly sessions.
