Acolytes assist the priest in preparing for the Sunday and Holy Day liturgies, as well as funerals and special occasions, such as baptisms and weddings.  Some of the details the Acolyte looks after include the Book of Prayer, Mass sheets, Prayers of the Faithful (Intercessions), bread and wine, altar linens, chalices, ciboria, candles, preparing and clearing the Altar, cleaning the purified sacred vessels and returning items to their proper place.  Acolytes should arrive 30 minutes prior tothe beginning of Mass.  Initial training
is provided.  Youth are welcome to assist.  Altar servers (youth) assist at some weekday Masses as well. Our  ministry leader is Mark Rogan.
